  1. We are not investing our wealth for climate bill: we are allowing to take debt at almost negative rates in order to create energy infrastructure to become more independent.

If you want GDP growth, this is the perfect project: everybody profit from lower energy prices and infrastructure projects usually employ a lot of trade skilled professionals. We could have the most qualified electricians of Europe and export our knowledge in future.

I am usually voting center right, but this is literally one of the best growth initiative we are voting, I don’t get why the right is against it.

  2. As long as China, USA, India don’t give a damn, nothing we do will help

  3. No, and I’ll be voting against on the 8th of March. As long as Taylor Swift rides her airplane we can invest as much as we want it won’t change too much.

  4. Climate topics are so 2024 and out of fashion nowadays.

  5. No.

Chinese, American, Indian and Bangladeshi industry is destroying the world but that’s my problem? Fuck off.

  6. Yes absolutely – it’s a disgrace to see how little people care and how whatsboutism is used to justify to do nothing…

  7. This is such a misleading title. “Some” of Switzerland’s wealth is already set aside to fight climate change and therebis a robust majority supporting it. This is about whether “more” should be set aside.

We can agree or disagree about that, but let’s at least not be misleading each other.

  8. Nope. Maybe if we could build all of these things here in Switzerland. But as long as we have to import these panels, batteries etc, we are still very dependent on the countries that make them.
