Maybe dumb question, I'm thinking of signing up for a trial BahnCard, can someone confirm I actually cannot cancel it? Do they have this offer on purpose to get people to sign up and entice them, then to have to pay the full year cost once it's up? I am only a student here for a semester, so I wouldn't really need much more than the 3 months anyways.
But on the screen behind it, it says, "Your BahnCard will be extended automatically by one year unless you cancel it in writing at least 4 weeks before the end of its validity period. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal period."

You can of course cancel it within the terms of service.
You cannot cancel the Probe BahnCard but you have to cancel the whole subscription 4 weeks before its end of validity if you do not want to continue with a regular BahnCard for a whole year afterwards.
It’s valid for 3 month, you can’t cancel it after 1 month and get 2 month worth of your money back.
Also its a subscription, so it gets changed into a full bahncard after 3 months. So if you only want the probebahncard, you need to cancel the subscription at latest 4 weeks before the 3 months are over, otherwise they will charge you for a full card.
