The U.S. President said he personally asked Putin to refrain from strikes on Kyiv and other cities during the period of severe cold, and that Putin supposedly agreed.

  1. Putin sounds like a very trustworthy person who honours his agreements

  2. Speaking as a Kyiv resident here, most of us are sure Russia will strike again this weekend as the temperatures are supposed to dip dangerously low again. Russia agreeing not to strike really just means they likely will.

The situation in other cities is bad, but Kyiv is definitely the worst in terms of power and cold. At least one person already froze to death. In houses people have other heating options such as fireplaces or wood burning stoves but in the high rises of Kyiv, where most residents live, that is not possible.

  3. Trump endorses Putin shelling Ukrainian civilian targets the week after next.

  4. Putin can in all honesty agree to such a thing because he’s *never* been the one pulling the trigger or pressing the button to launch drones and missiles at the Ukrainians.

The tens of thousands of *other* “victimized” Russians in the military who’ve been doing all along are totally consistent with the reality that this is the **Russians’** war, *not* Putin’s War™.

When the [goal of 140 million+ Russians is to exterminate 40 million+ Ukrainians](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russification_of_Ukraine#Peter_I_and_his_successors) then *why* should the former let up now when their untrimmed nostrils really detect Ukrainian blood and are convinced that they have the Ukrainians on the ropes?

  5. And Zelenskyy assured me , that Ukraine will relaliate any attack even harder, but not targeting families in their homes or schools or hospitals 👀 legit military important targets and maybe some grids

  6. Oh… no. Lips are flapping again. These 2 are on the same page. Liars.

  7. Russia already does this routinely. It pauses for weeks to build up reserves of drones/missiles, and then strikes in large numbers.

Even planning a strike takes weeks.

Claiming that Russia agreed to “pause” for one week means absolutely nothing.

  8. I’m not sure Putin heard him clearly with his mouth full.

  9. From stopping the way in 3 days to getting lied to about a week hiatus in terror bombings. Are we winning yet?

  10. Putin would just wait for Ukraine to strike an oil refinery and then he would say “Ukraine broke the agreement”.
But there is no agreement, except with Putin and Trump

  11. It’s a good thing almost every single person that is not a trump supporter knows they can not trust what comes out of his mouth.

  12. Saving up missiles again for a huge attack. It is Russia’s MO and worse they get Trump to feel like he’s got any kind of say in the matter.

  13. Wording is important here, did they agree to stop shelling or striking? Because they are not in range for shelling anyway so it would be empty promise regardless of his poor previous track record.

  14. So the missiles are already in the air? Got it, dumbass.

  15. Wow. A whole week. What a skilled negotiator. The Art of the Deal. This is a win? WTF

  16. Trump gave Putin permission to bomb Ukraine on all other weeks?

  17. Next we’ll hear Ukraine bombed itself because Putin said he wouldn’t.

  18. “Dont try to murder them for 1 week because its really cold and thatd be mean. Someone could slip and injure themselves”
    “Yeah ok babes.”
“Thanks sweetie, this will look great for my fake board of peace, they’ll all want too join now, ill get a peace prize for sure”
    – day 1 bombs Ukraine
