Id feel like a gimp buying an egg jan even if i wanted that shite they passing off as chocolate these days full of palm oil.

Easter is not for another 66 days i think, and what about valentines day is less the 20 day away but i see nothing for it not a single box of chocolate's for me mammy or gf, nothing. Do ye think the GF would get mad if i gave her an egg on V-day?

  6. in the US, we have Valentine’s Day, st. Patrick’s day, and Easter stuff filling the stores for a month now.

  7. Already in the US… although the shelves are pretty much full of Valentine’s Day merch.

  8. We had a break from the astroturfing anti-Cadbury “palm oil muck” posts in the week or so after Christmas.

    They’re back now for Easter. Sigh.

  13. It’s not earlier than usual. Easter is at the start of April this year. That’s capitalism for you, nothing new. Same as every year, slowly after Christmas…

  14. they were in aldi on the 8th of january, and people are buying them. if the people didnt buy, the shops would get them in..!!

  17. The sad thing is that in order for the shop to be selling them, the eggs were made as far back as August!

  18. I couldn’t get into the shop earlier because a woman had parked herself and her trolley beside the Easter Egg display and was stocking up like they were toilet rolls during Covid. By the time she was done she had 36 Eggs away with her – three full trays.

  20. Eggs where in my local dealz rge first few days of January I didnt day anything to the staff but one that I get on with said its a load of shite putting these out early they had no choice in it
