  1. At first, he was suspected of being an enemy soldier who had survived another attempted “meat grinder” assault against Ukrainian positions. After proper identification and verification, he was confirmed to be a member of one of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces units.

The soldier reported that for several weeks, he had been trying to make his way back to friendly lines after becoming cut off from his unit.

While exposed to freezing conditions, the infantryman searched abandoned houses for food and water.

During these movements, he managed to bypass enemy positions and reach the gray zone, where he concealed himself from hostile patrols and drones.

He was found suffering from hypothermia, exhaustion, and starvation, and was unable to move independently.

The SSO operators immediately rendered first aid and evacuated him to a secure location, saving the infantryman’s life.

  2. Every Ukrainian life is worth saving!! Дякую to the Security and Defense Forces 💙💛🇺🇦
