Members of the 4th Tank Brigade had their cold weather gear destroyed in a drone strike. Thanks to donors we were able to send replacements to them the same day! This winter is intense and replacing cold weather gear immediately helps keep soldiers safe. See the comments for how to help!

This is a new team for us made up of a lot of Ukrainians and volunteers from Brazil!
This is the 4th Tank Brigade. They reached out to say they had some members lose all their cold weather gear in a drone strike. They asked for immediate replacements and we sent them the same day. Here they are receiving electric heaters, thermal sets, winter boots, winter coats and pants, and extra socks as no one ever has enough of those.
This is a brutal winter in Ukraine and even if soldiers do have cold weather gear, drone strikes can mean it needs replacement. Sometimes the strike destroys the gear. Sometimes they have to leave too quickly to take everything with them. The power situation means that people are also most often living without adequate power or heat; having sufficient cold weather gear and a supply of hand and foot warmers is a necessity.
Donations here are what provided this gear. This is 501c3 compliant but PAV makes all purchases in Ukraine supporting Ukrainian businesses and brands. The gear above was purchased at EpiCentr.

This team also isn’t matched up yet with donors. We have MANY worthy volunteers who would love to be individually matched with donors. This is a great way to know who you are supporting and also learn more about what it’s like to serve in Ukraine. If you would like to do that sign up as a supplies donor at [protectavolunteer.com](http://protectavolunteer.com); we ask for a minimum pledge of $25/month to be matched up.
