Hello, me and my partner (from the UK) were holidaying in Belgium recently and stayed somewhere with a youtube account which was showing what the previous guests were watching, one of the videos was this folk song. We listened to it and found it very catchy so often were humming it on our travels round the country. We were wondering would this song be offensive to any of the people of Belgium or is it just a fun song?

It’s not a folk song, it’s a song by Wannes Van de Velde. I don’t think anyone will recognise what you’re humming. It’s not offensive, it’s just *veeeery* Antwerpian
