So with inflation etc the cost of living went up 3.6 in the last 3 months so headline should be that the average worker got a 0.1-0.5 pay cut
Funny that now pay rises are no longer real terms pay cuts they get mentioned again. Seriously, I can’t remember the derisory pay “rises” we got from 2008 – 2020 even being on the radar. Everyone just accepted that complete and utter bullshit like it was normal. Most companies recovered from 2008 within a few years and went on to make even bigger profits.
