Where is this? WW2 Mountain Division

Hello everyone,

my grandfather was stationed in Norway during most of WW2 and on the photos I found this location kept coming up. I'm curious to where this is. I'm 90% sure he was with the 2nd Mountain Division (Gebirgsjäger). I know he was near Trondheim at some point. I also know they retreated from Finland towards the end of the war and endet up in British captivity. But it seems like they spend most of their time in this location so any information would be most welcome.
