Some people should only have basic phones where they can call or text only, it was vile yesterday the amount of people recording the people who were hit!
Terrible I hate people sometimes I just don’t understand why you need to film anything tragic like an accident
Filming tragic accidents instead of helping or moving away is morally repugnant. It turns human suffering into spectacle, strips victims of dignity, and exposes a shameful lack of empathy and basic decency.
Between this shit and brain rotted numpties demanding to know the nationality of the driver I don’t know how far down the drain some people are letting themselves go.
If you fell over on the street nowadays people would record you rather than help you up.
Welcome to 2026.
It’s a crime punishable by fines and imprisonment in certain countries. I’m an advocate for a similar law being brought in here ever since that poor woman was beheaded on the m50 a few years ago and images of her decapitated head were circulating online. Morally repugnant people of this calibre should be severely punished.
However considering how we treat those caught in the possession of heinous child sexual abuse imagery I don’t hold any hope for us taking a hard line on either
I can’t understand the brain defect of people that would decide to take out their phone and record an accident. The internet and social media really has created a generation of disgusting, empathy free morons.
I think this is something thats only going to get worse and worse as more people are brought up to view the world behind a screen. They are removed from having an empathetic response.
I remember about 10 years ago coming out of work and being shocked by a scene on the road in front of me. Two paramedics were carrying out cpr on a man that appeared to have had a major heartattack. It was a quiet road so it felt like it was just me standing on one side of the road witnessing this. There was somebody else pulling out a privacy screen from the ambulance. Anyway, it probably took me about 5 seconds to register what I was seeing and that I was probably witnessing the end of somebody’s life. I just turned away and went into a church I pass on my way home and lit a candle. I’m not religious at all. I still think of his poor family getting a call that day.
Paramedics are amazing people. I dont know how they deal with what they see every day while I moan and sigh at getting an annoying email at work.
awful headline structure
Can’t believe people still record accidents. I put a post up a few years ago on an old reddit account, about people recording accidents in public.
Shame on anyone who thinks it’s ok to take videos of other people suffering. Why record? What is your video gonna do? Get views on social media to make yourself feel special.
Sick people
All the typical right wing scum are sharing the video taken 5 seconds after the accident where you can see people trying to get under the bus to help the victims.
people standing around accidents is as old as time. They just happen to have phones now.
They would never assist anyone.
I would be far more interested in knowing what the cause of the crash was? Medical emergency, mechanical malfunction, carelessness, or an act of a deliberate nature.
Hell, my dad witnessed a few years back
Drunk man fell over banged his head on the ground bleeding from head injury a man and a woman walk by at the same time go right over to this guy on the ground look right at him and one of them outloud says don’t know him
And they keep walking …….
In the end, the guy on the ground was fine, thankfully, but it just shows how heartless so many people are
Things like this remind me of that woman who died in M50 and the scene was absolutely brutal. Video then circulated in social media.

This should be illegal.
