I have a train from Warsaw to Munich this week. I got a notification this weekend saying due to timetable changes, I needed to select an alternative connection. However, there’s no option to select anything. What do I do? And what does this mean?

  1. It means that you have to take another train.
    If you cannot see any other trains contact the DB customer service I guess

  2. It just means that you are free to take *any* train between Warsaw and Munich operated by Deutsche Bahn. You don’t need to make a choice in the app, just look up alternative connections and take them. Any restrictions on the ticket are automatically waived.

  3. Go to the Bahn website, look for the same connection – should your original not show – you now can take any other service with the already booked ticket, should you need new seat reservations, book them online or go to the nearest travel center and have them move you seats from original booking.
    If you book new online, write the online after your journey with the two reference numbers and you’ll get one refunded – so no extra costs.
