🇱🇻🇺🇦❤️Ukrainian flag reached the South Pole in Antarctica! To make it happen, renowned Latvian mountaineer Juris Ulmanis skied 150 kilometres over 16 days in incredibly harsh polar conditions.

Juris has supported Ukraine for many years. Since 2014, he has volunteered in frontline areas, helping both defenders and civilians. After Russia's full-scale invasion, he has focused on international advocacy in support of Ukraine. In 2025, he led an expedition to Antarctica, where he replaced the Russian flag with the Ukrainian flag.
