Hello all,

I have a quick question,I'm moving from apartments soon and while getting things ready I messed up the wall.

My question is, do you think this is something worth repairing by myself, or if it's something I can leave out and let the deposit handle it?

  1. Just fill it up, and make it level like any other hole. You should have to pay nothing for it then. No need to paint.

  2. Is have a go at repairing it myself, if I were you. You might do a good job and the damage isn’t noted. And the worst case is it’ll need the same professional repair anyhow.

    I think there’s a good chance you could avoid a significant professional repair bill.

  3. Depends on if the walls need painted anyway. If yes, then you can fix it a bit or even leave it. I fixed similar damages when I moved out the last time and they accepted it, though I think the whole apartment was due for a paint job (was ca. 10 years since it was done).
