It wasn’t long ago that most of these NMBS trains had fold down tables in the backs of the seats. I feel like they slowly started to disappear a year or so ago to the point where I never see them anymore, which sucks!
Does anyone have any insight on where they’ve gone or whether they might return?

As someone who actually tried to do some work on the train…. It is super annoying, equally as much when you have those bus-like trains (intercity?) that only have 10cm wide tables in the 4-seat booths

My guess: too many broke, it was annoying to clean. Maybe trying to push people to first class too
Vandalism maybe?
Probably destroyed by a certain type of “users”
