Went to the Beijing Irish Ball yesterday (an event affiliated with the Irish Embassy in China) and they used some badly made AI art as deco. It’s easy to spot mistakes like blurry faces and the backwards spear stuck on poor Cú Chulainn. It’s also funny that Scáthach (Cú Chulainn’s mentor/foster mother) here seemed to be based on the Fate franchise version of her design (look up “Fate Scáthach” if you don’t know) rather than traditional Irish clothing. It’s disappointing they didn’t even bother to edit the AI pics a little before putting them up.

  1. I’d recognise Fate’s Scathach anywhere, this is absolutely AI.

Abysmal and insulting from the Irish embassy in China.

  2. Would you ever get a grip.

Is this the most important thing going on in Sino-Irish relations right now?

People are busy. Its a 1 pager.

How was your free food and drink courtesy of the Irish taxpayer?

  3. Easy to die standing when a fella seemingly drives a spear through a standing stone first to pin you there like a butterfly in a display case.
