Hi everyone, I’m 28 and moved to Germany about two years ago. Currently my German level is around A2, and although I’m actively learning, I’m struggling to find a stable job. I have a teaching degree from my home country, but unfortunately it’s not recognized here yet. So far, I’ve worked as a delivery driver, in hotel housekeeping, and in bars, but I’m looking for something more stable and with decent pay. I’m also financially supporting my sisters, so I really need a job that pay more than 2.5k. I’d really appreciate any advice on what kind of jobs I should focus on or possible paths I could take given my situation. at the moment I am considering these 2 jobs but I am not sure.
1)Postman for letters Job ad: https://careers.dhl.com/eu/en/job/DPDHGLOBALAV332481ENEUEXTERNAL/Postbote-f%C3%BCr-Briefe-in-Grunewald-m-w-d
Would my A2 be enough to get hired? When I think about it it is just reading addresses and delivering them there should be no long conservations involved right? Do they do any other work at the office like organizing or documenting? That could be a problem for me

2)Delivery for Ubereats
I heard people making 3k a month with this but i heard you need to open your own freelancer firm to do this which is a lot of tax/insurance problem. Do they really earn that much? if they do I am thinking of buying a cheap car to do it.

I am open to all suggestion please help me find a decent job here.

Thank you in advance!

  1. Two years in Germany and only A2 – that’s really bad. I’d say that learning German and then applying to do an Ausbildung should be your priorities.
