  1. The anonymity around this TD is doing real damage. When an elected representative chooses to stand up in court for someone convicted of sexually exploiting a child, the public deserves to know who made that choice. Keeping their name hidden protects the powerful, not the victim. And it’s a fair question to ask whether this TD would have written the same reference if the survivor had been a girl instead of a boy. If a politician uses their office to try to soften the consequences for a sex offender, their constituents have every right to know who they are and hold them accountable.

  4. David Norris’s gave a reference to a pedophile on Seanad headed paper . In essence it’s like saying he’s speaking on behalf of all Irish men and women . He should be in jail along with whoever this cunt was
