(The picture is from my Credit Card fee statement, not how much I spent, but how much I have to pay extra)
I applied for a UBS Standard Credit Card it was advertised as 5 CHF/month. Now I have paid hundreds of CHF getting increasingly worse. I also can't take my money from my Fond(Investment Account) for some reason. They'll rinse you dry.

Thank you for your donation to UBS. Please continue donating or we’ll have to offshore or lay off our struggling poor bankers.
This screen is only for your credit card expenses so what you used the card for. The credit card fees are directly charged through your normal account and not through these credit card statements.
Are you withdrawing cash perhaps?
Are you late with your payments?
Cause this looks clearly like the amount you spent.
No way this is all fees…
Ahh, that‘s what the S stands for! 🤓
Can you explain how to get to this screen? I want to see mine.
Im not sure if you know how credit cards work but the 5/month is for the credit card package not how much you need to pay back.
If you dont pay your credit card bill you’ll get late payment fees around 30-60$ while also getting the 12% Intrest charge from UBS applied depending on how many days you missed yoir payment by…
Credit Cards arent free money and you should not be using them if you dont have the money outright
What are you on about? This looks like a screenshot of the monthly invoices to be paid, they represent how much you need to repay your credit card to get to your full balance.
So if you’re regularly (e.g. weekly) repay your card after using it, you don’t have to additionally pay that invoice as long as you’re paying the full amount back.
The system won’t stop you if you want to overpay your balance. For example, if your card limit is 5000 CHF, you spent 250 CHF, you can repay e.g. 300 CHF and your card will show 5050 CHF balance.
Check if you’re overpaid over your balance, and check also each CC transaction to double verify if there are really extra fees.
UBS has definitely high fees, no doubt for that but the management ones are quite consistent. The variability of the amount tells me you’re doing something variable that generates those fees, such as withdrawing at ATMs or paying in foreign currencies
My experience with UBS credit card has been quite positive. Never got charged any fee. I’ve paid my invoices on time.
just verified, I have credit card invoices payed automatically, never done it by hand, 0% surcharge applied…
I think you don’t get how credit cards work lol.
Just go to any UBS store and let them explain how this works. Perhaps Revolut or any pre-pay credit cards would be more suitable to you.
This screen shows you the balance of the invoice you need to pay, it has nothing to do with charges. There can be some of the charges included in the total sum, but what you see is exactly this – sum of all. I think problem is in the mirror, not the UBS
I don’t understand why people use credit card services from swiss banks. It’s expenive and not transparent. There are lots of providers for free credit card services (no base fee) and really fair charges for foreign currencies and no hidden costs. As long as you do not overdraft your cresit line and pay your invoices timely there are literally zero fees – in contrary, you even receive cash back.
You are either not paying your bills or don’t know what you’re spending money on. Have a look at the detailed invoices to see where the costs are coming from. Fyi, UBS credit card bills only get paid automatically if you set it up. Otherwise you’ll have to pay them yourself.
UBS has plenty of offices to step in and ask directly at the counter. So what did they tell you?
There’s no scam involved here. As others already suggested: Send them back your credit card, accompanied with a letter, acknowledging that you don’t understand how credit cards work.
Then, go back to using prepaid and debit cards.
You can click on the invoices what gets charged
