  1. I must admit, I knew Finland is known for this but I did not know they are the largest producer in the world for it. Cool.

  2. People should remember that Southern coastline of Greenland generally doesn’t freeze in the winter. Almost the whole west coast of Greenland is ice-free right now.

    Also these new icebreakers are not capable of going around Greenland where the ice is thickest (over 3 meters). New icebreakers’ requirement is the break 3 foot ice (0.91 meters).
