Seems like a very reasonable requirement. 124kg even in your gear is a lot

In the age of GLP-1 medications, there really are not many excuses to be that fat.
Years ago there was an issue that people couldn’t fit though the escape windows on the choppers. We shouldn’t be shaming people but where you present a health and safety risk it’s only fair.
I don’t see why weight limits should be different to any other safety requirement.
