I can’t read the article for some reason but this has to be absolutely demoralising for the Police that caught him.
On the one hand they and the Fire Brigade are very often first on scene following fatal accidents on the motorway. They have to manage with the mental effects of cleaning up the mess that was people’s lives.
On the flip side the Courts, at least on this occasion, don’t seem to think that driving recklessly at speeds up to 120mph genuinely puts anyone else’s lives at risk to the extent that he requires a custodial sentence.
All of the above obviously dependent on the title reflecting the article. I guess I have a 50/50 chance here.
Not that unusual before the crisis, but expect more of this until we sort out the Tory mess and build new prisons.
Someone should be in prison for that haircut though.
