And in Germany they are predicting ANOTHER 50’000 job losses for 2030-2035 on top of those already happening. These idiots in charge are ruining peoples livelyhoods with their insane dash to net zero, high taxes, crazy spending on welfare and high immigration, When all is said and done and we reach economic ground zero…those people who refused to change course will not be very popular with the public I would guess.
So Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is sold off to overseas interests, said overseas owners propose huge job cuts….. What’s the chances Ministers throw JLR massive taxpayer funded ‘corporate welfare’ subsidies, like they have so many of overseas billionaires and corporations that have bought U.K. manufacturing companies eg Arcelor Mittal??
Who would have thought making crap, unreliable, old fashioned cars would backfire? It’s honestly fascinating seeing prized UK institutions completely fail to innovate and keep up with markets.
Can’t believe that super diverse advert didn’t save them.
JLR was sold to a foreign company, their objective is to maintain the Britishness of the brand and make max profits.
So whilst JLR will always stay in UK, many jobs will inevitably move to other countries with cheaper labour costs.
And thats what worker unions are important – unless their train drivers in which case their overpaid button pushers who should be replaced by a robot. Oh and doctors too, they can get fucked as well.

I’m not trying to offend, but realistically; Jaguar lost their fucking mind a few years back and land Rover are built to the absolute shitest standards of quality/ reliability. These problems existed back in the layland days.
