What? How? I was told that the UK was sending the EU a lot of money that could’ve been used to fund the NHS instead!

Rubbish then why were the waiting lists longer before Brexit too 😁
I honestly feel that we will never recover the economy. Literally every option will always backfire no matter if we reduce or raise taxes.
I voted remain + wish we stayed but this seems like an overreach
No no, that’s not possible. We were all just a part of project fear remember? All the economists explaining how leaving a free-trade economic union was bad, their years and decades of education and experience were wrong. Nige said it was going to make us all rich… somehow.
In all seriousness its deeply ironic that the industries that were pro-Brexit have suffered the most for it. Our fishing exports and domestic production are way down from 2016 for example. Though why it was worth no longer being the IFC financial gateway of all money transfers going in and out of the EU for an industry that contributes 0.05% of our revenues I don’t know.
Increasing the population by 10 million in a decade or so with too many service users and overwhelming the service created the waiting list disaster.

“Could have” being the operative phrase here. They would have spaffed it up the wall on something else stupid even if we didn’t have Brexit.
