1. This really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. I have no issue giving asylum to those in genuine need for political or societal reasons, but it’s obvious that it is not the case in the majority of arrivals. And I don’t even blame them for this, if I was in their position, I’d likely do exactly the same to get into Europe.

2. we have become a joke of a country. There is a small chance it can be turned around but it grows smaller with each day.
