Isn’t the main aspect of reforms policy to cut spending.
They’re probably voting for the wrong party then. Both reform and Tories want to reduce it the most, Reform by over £50 billion.
Hence the particular focus recently in the media on benefits scroungers and people like Jeremy Vine needing to soften public opinion, there’s been a noticeable uptake in News stories around this topic in the various newspapers as well.
I can’t imagine that it is actually most voter’s desire to cut these sorts of benefits.
Whether the party decides to later or not, well, who knows what anyone will do once they get into power. The Tories and Labour have demonstrated time and time again that it doesn’t matter a jot what you campaign on, once you’re in you can do whatever you want and the other side gets to trot out the “bUt YoU vOtEd fOR ThISSSS!” line.
I don’t think anyone has an issue with people who actually have disabilities getting funding. They should get even more benefits tbh.
The issue is the perpetually unemployed claiming for everything from a bad back to Saturday Night Fever and milking the country dry.
Increase disability payments=yes
But also do a massive crackdown on fraudulant claims with harsh sentences if Jamie is suddenly caught having a game of Five-aside when he supposedly can’t walk without his Dole Pole.
Everyone is 1 seriously bad day away from relying on disability benefits.
Well that’s what they’ll get because they won’t NOT vote for those parties
