  1. Earlier in the year was the Big Snow with massive snowdrifts and arctic temperatures.

  2. Temperature “in the sun” isn’t how temperature is measured for record-keeping and comparisons with other years, so if that is a real article the measured temperature there wouldn’t mean the same thing as if the MET office told you it was going to be 43 degrees tomorrow.
