Hello folks,
I work at a filmproduction named Filmgerberei (SRF DevilleLateNight, Hypekitchen, Oscar-nominated) and we are developing a docutainment-series for a Swiss streaming platform. It is about the so called "Junggesell*innen-Abschiede / Enterrement de vie de celibataire / addii al nubilato/celibato", the bachelor trips!
We want to find out: how do different groups and cultures in Switzerland celebrate this passage from bachelor*ette to married person? What rituals are there – be it party, excess, or more intimate, spiritual – and what do they mean to us? What are the social dynamics in such groups, during planning and during the party/trip? We aim to do a gripping piece about Friendship, Love, Youth and Adulthood, representing all of Switzerland.
For this, we are looking for groups of friends who are planning a bachelor trip between May and September 2026 and would be interested to become a part of a professional docutainment series (like a documentary but more entertaining, like Reality-TV but not as trashy). So turn to you, dear redditors: Are you a bride/groom or are you organizing a bachelor*ette partty (maybe as a surprise)? And you want to show Switzerland how it's done? =)
