An elderly man we evacuated from Kupiansk survived an explosion in 2022. The blast landed near his home, striking only the foundation. He was extremely lucky to survive. More than a month later, he was finally evacuated. Kupiansk remains dangerous, and civilian evacuations are still urgently needed.
