I saw a Video recently this one
and around 30:30 mark the Vlogger comes across a handful of Prostitutes in Hamburg,
all dressed similarly and all charging the exact same amount, which seemed suspicious to me.
Which brought up my question…is it likely thse girls are working for a Pimp/forced to work on the street?
Is that a common practice in germany in general?
They sounded like locals so its hard to imagine how a german born girl could end up getting pimped out unless theyre heavily addicted

The numbers suggest the majority of prostitutes work voluntarily, but of course that doesn’t mean there isn’t anyone taking advantage of them. Like in all jobs, it’s usually the higher ups earning more, and with prostitution, many women accept that since it adds a certain layer of safety.
Generally, though, German women are unlikely to be forced into prostitution, since it’s legal here and they can go to the police about it. This is a bigger issue among foreign women who are pressured into keeping their mouth shut, since they’re afraid to be otherwise deported.
