Beyond the Tories rampant Tory corruption, it was stories like this that helped break the social contract and we now see it in the behaviour of people today. Hair trigger moods, zero respect, near zero tolerance.
People have largely had enough and accept that you’re a mug if you “play by the rules”.
I’m not even sure this story is any kind of justice. It’s just reporting the company is basically economically dormant.
They just spent it all.. It was such a blatant, obvious, scam at the time.
My personal highlight was the family using the cash to go on a blow out holiday and the poor old bastard was dragged along to present the thinnest veneer of justification.

I got a Captain Tom branded water bottle because I work for the nhs… I never use it because it leaks.
