  1. This can be seen as a plus, since many times it happened that after an OS update, the phone becomes slow or battery dies fast. However, it should be indicated to the users when buying it.

  2. Checks article: “five years of security updates”.

    So the complaint is not actually about “updates”, which these phones receive, but that they also want them to get “upgrades”, which is not the same.
