couldnt agree less. overpriced as fuck. trains are either 45 minutes late or dont come at all. and of course youre only allowed to use the standard overcrowded garbage-tier trains.

it really is great. I was in Hamburg for work last week, and I don’t need to think for a second about buying a ticket. I get off the ICE and get on whatever local transit I like. I took Ferries, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, buses etc.
Just so convenient not to fuss about it.
100% agree it’s been a game changer and pays itself over easily.

It generally is the only thing I can remember that our politicians gave us that is benefitting to almost everyone and you can actually afford it

I would say one of the best government investments of my tax money that I get to enjoy directly. It was too much of a hassle thinking about zones, regions, prices, etc before. Now, travel is stressfree and more affordable. Although the prices are rising almost every year.
