Military Aid Specification: Tridon Mk2 Systems

• The Equipment: The units are of the Tridon Mk2 type and will be delivered directly to Ukraine. They are specifically designed to shoot down drones and other short-range aerial threats.

• Scale of Support: The funding is expected to cover the equipment needed for an entire air defense battalion, which supports upwards of 1,000 military personnel.

• Rapid Delivery: These specific units are already in production and are expected to be delivered to Ukraine just a few months after the order is officially placed.

  1. The development of the anti-drone and air defense technology was done ”at an unprecedented speed” in collaboration between Sweden and Ukraine.
