I know this isn't what this community is for, but I couldn't find help anywhere else. I'm making a documentary and Henri Toivinen's last interview is gonna be in it. I wanna make sure that my English translation of it is accurate and true.
Any help is much appreciated!

  1. Post your English translation and we’ll tell you if it’s correct…

  2. “We still have left this 29-year old rally legend’s last race.

Lancia’s rally missile is super fast, and the Corsica rally’s roads are demanding. Curve after curve. Henri is tired.

Henri: We’re something like between one minute and thirty to one minute and forty… On the lead or so. Only thing is that this race is really insane, like… We have been driving special stages for over 4 hours pretty much. Like, like Jyväskylä’s Grand Prix basically today.

So, so… In my opinion, you can’t drive a race like this on a modern car like this.

Journalist: Takes a toll on your physique?

Henri: Takes a toll on your physique. And don’t have enough brain left for this hustle.

    Journalist: Thank you.”

That’s my best quick translation. “Käy kunnon päälle” I translated as “Takes a toll on your physique”. But it’s more of a saying that something is physically demanding to do.

  3. And after this interview he crashed fatally. R.I.P.
