But why are Grandmothers wrong? <\/p>\n<p>When my gal was young she hated (and still hates!) cooking, her Grandmother told her repeatedly that she would have trouble finding a husband if she never learned to cook! <\/p>\n<p>Well here we are, 27 happy years together later &#8230;. and this weekend I made my girl \u0160altibar\u0161\u010diai. And very tasty it was too \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>Now I&#39;ll admit I made it with roasted beetroots instead of boiled or pickled (I prefer the flavor, sorry to the purists), and the potatoes I also made in my preferred style (skin in, parboiled and then roasted in the oven with olive oil) &#8211; so just a touch different to the way you folks have them &#8230;. but in any case she never did need to learn to cook \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>Our Dutch friends who were over for dinner also were very surprised by one of your favored dishes and wanted the recipe too \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Have a great evening!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- SC_ON --><br \/>\n<br \/>&#8212;<br \/>\nSam1967<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Hello from the Netherlands!
