{"id":149173,"date":"2026-05-15T16:05:23","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T16:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/forums\/149173\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T16:05:23","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T16:05:23","slug":"washing-machine-top-panel-doesnt-fit-in-the-kitchen-cabinet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/forums\/149173\/","title":{"rendered":"Washing machine top panel doesn&#8217;t fit in the kitchen cabinet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/forums\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/jpxaj3jwqb1h1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/forums\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/d1gp9sadrb1h1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n<!-- SC_OFF --><\/p>\n<div class=\"md\">\n<p>Hi everyone, probably this is a stupid question, but I will take my chances. <\/p>\n<p>We recently got a new washing machine for our WG. <\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the <em>height of the new machine is a bit higher than our kitchen cabinet<\/em> (where the old machine was kept). <\/p>\n<p>Without the washing machine&#39;s top panel (cover), the machine fits well. <\/p>\n<p>But leaving it open (see the picture) may be bad due to the dust, and also may pose risks for electrical issues in case it gets exposed to water. <\/p>\n<p>For now, we have used some plastic foils to cover it, but I would like to know if there is any <em>better way to cover the top part of the machine<\/em>? <\/p>\n<p><em>Is it possible to buy a thin metal sheet and cover it? If yes, where can I buy it? Or maybe some other solutions.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>Probably some of you have a similar experience.
