Il porte le nom de (152637) 1997 NC1. Depuis 1997, cet astre est scrut\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s par les scientifiques de<strong> l\u2019Agence spatiale europ\u00e9enne <\/strong>(ESA). Plusieurs estimations consid\u00e8rent que <strong>sa taille est soit comprise entre 750 et 1650 m<\/strong>, <strong>soit plus petite<\/strong>, selon l\u2019ESA. Les r\u00e9sultats d\u00e9pendant des calculs de <strong>l\u2019alb\u00e9do<\/strong>, autrement dit la quantit\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re renvoy\u00e9e vers l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Est-il dangereux pour la Terre ?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Le risque de collision est presque nul<\/strong>. L\u2019ast\u00e9ro\u00efde, qui avance \u00e0 la vitesse de <strong>8,9 kilom\u00e8tres par seconde<\/strong>, sera situ\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>2,5 millions de kilom\u00e8tres <\/strong>de notre plan\u00e8te, au plus proche. Autant dire qu\u2019il y a de la marge. Cela repr\u00e9sente pr\u00e8s de <strong>sept fois la distance Terre-Lune.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Comment l\u2019observer ?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bonne nouvelle, cet astre pourra \u00eatre <strong>regard\u00e9 depuis l\u2019h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord <\/strong>quand il s\u2019approchera de la Terre. <strong>L\u2019h\u00e9misph\u00e8re sud <\/strong>pourra \u00e0 son tour l\u2019observer quand il s\u2019\u00e9loignera de nous.
