Andr\u00e9e Imbert n\u2019avait que quelques heures quand on l\u2019a d\u00e9couverte sur le parvis de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.laprovence.com\/article\/region\/1794294267898914\/sacree-musique-investit-la-collegiale-sainte-marthe-de-tarascon\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">\u00e9glise de Sainte-Marthe<\/a>, \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laprovence.com\/article\/region\/83160618730569\/aux-chutes-lavie-a-marseille-le-portail-de-la-discorde-c-est-bientot-fini\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Marseille<\/a>, dans le froid de d\u00e9cembre 1907.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re partie de sa vie fut d\u2019abord celle d\u2019une enfant de l\u2019Assistance publique confi\u00e9e, \u00e0 partir de ses 7 ans, \u00e0 des familles aimantes dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laprovence.com\/article\/region\/2179350019342314\/le-somptueux-diner-a-la-truffe-d-ete-de-la-maison-plantin-a-piegon\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">la Dr\u00f4me<\/a>, comme les Mourier \u00e0 Cornillon puis les Samuel \u00e0 Cornillac o\u00f9, entre deux t\u00e2ches \u00e0 la ferme, la jeune adolescente qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait commen\u00e7a \u00e0 apprendre seule \u00e0 cuisiner avec un talent qu\u2019elle ne cessa par la suite de bonifier.<\/p>\n<p>Mari\u00e9e \u00e0 L\u00e9opold Imbert, cafetier au village de Venterol, pr\u00e8s de Nyons, elle l\u2019exer\u00e7a pleinement au sein de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de son \u00e9poux. La table du Caf\u00e9 de la Poste avait bonne r\u00e9putation mais l\u2019existence d\u2019Andr\u00e9e devait s\u2019\u00e9crire ailleurs. \u00c0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les s\u00e9parations n\u2019\u00e9taient pas chose courante, cette femme au temp\u00e9rament affirm\u00e9, eu \u00e9gard \u00e0 son parcours personnel, quitta son mari et, avec sa fille de 6 ans dans les bras, c\u2019est \u00e0 Lyon, ville renomm\u00e9e pour sa gastronomie, qu\u2019elle a b\u00e2ti les bases de sa destin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Andr\u00e9 Geneston, l\u2019un des trois petits-enfants d\u2019Andr\u00e9e Imbert, aime \u00e9voquer l\u2019histoire de sa grand-m\u00e8re. &quot;La Provence&quot;
