Tony Iommi n’a pas dit son dernier mot. Le l\u00e9gendaire guitariste de Black Sabbath publiera son nouvel album solo, From The Dark<\/strong>, le 23 octobre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pour accompagner cette annonce, le musicien britannique d\u00e9voile World Alone<\/strong>, un premier extrait pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 lors d’un \u00e9v\u00e9nement mondial diffus\u00e9 en streaming depuis Birmingham<\/strong>, sa ville natale. La pr\u00e9sentation s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du Black Sabbath Bridge<\/strong>, monument inaugur\u00e9 en 2019 en hommage au groupe pionnier du heavy metal.<\/p>\n

Port\u00e9 par les riffs caract\u00e9ristiques de Tony Iommi, World Alone met \u00e9galement en avant la voix du chanteur norv\u00e9gien J\u00f8rn Lande<\/strong>, fid\u00e8le collaborateur du guitariste sur ce nouveau projet.<\/p>\n

Le morceau s’accompagne d’un clip aux accents r\u00e9trofuturistes, dans lequel un personnage est projet\u00e9 dans un univers dystopique inspir\u00e9 des jeux vid\u00e9o.<\/p>\n

Un album marqu\u00e9 par le retour de Tony Iommi au premier plan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sur From The Dark, Tony Iommi retrouve donc J\u00f8rn Lande, qui a co\u00e9crit l’ensemble des chansons. Le groupe est compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par la bassiste Becky Baldwin<\/strong> et le batteur Karl Brazil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Le guitariste promet un disque \u00e0 la fois puissant, moderne et fid\u00e8le \u00e0 son identit\u00e9 musicale : \u00ab C’est un album sur lequel nous avons ador\u00e9 travailler. Nous n’avions plus rien \u00e0 prouver \u00e0 personne : c’est tout simplement un excellent album, et il d\u00e9chire ! \u00bb, d\u00e9clare-t-il.<\/p>\n

Compos\u00e9 de huit titres dans sa version standard, auxquels s’ajoutent deux morceaux bonus sur l’\u00e9dition Deluxe CD, From The Dark explore des th\u00e8mes existentiels et dystopiques \u00e0 travers des morceaux comme Stormwatcher, Death Wake ou encore Legacy.<\/p>\n

Cette sortie intervient un an apr\u00e8s Back To The Beginning<\/strong><\/a>, le concert d’adieu historique de Black Sabbath organis\u00e9 \u00e0 Birmingham en 2025.<\/p>\n

Avec ce nouvel opus, Tony Iommi prouve que son inspiration reste intacte et signe l’un des albums hard rock les plus attendus de cette fin d’ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
