Et allait achever de faire de Tom Cruise, dix ans apr\u00e8s Top Gun, l\u2019acteur-producteur le plus puissant d\u2019Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>Tout en reprenant les codes de la s\u00e9rie originelle (les messages qui s\u2019autod\u00e9truisent, les masques et le th\u00e8me musical iconique de Lalo Schifrin), le r\u00e9alisateur de Phantom of the Paradise (1974) et Scarface (1983) revisitait l\u2019\u00e2ge d\u2019or du cin\u00e9ma d\u2019espionnage \u2013 avec un \u00e9pisode \u00e0 Prague digne du Troisi\u00e8me Homme (Carol Reed, 1949) \u2013 et mettait en sc\u00e8ne des s\u00e9quences d\u2019action et cascades rivalisant avec les aventures de James Bond.
