Lors du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerobuzz.fr\/breves-industrie\/le-premier-islander-made-in-britain-a-fait-son-roll-out\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">roll-out de l\u2019Islander n\u00b02317<\/a>, le constructeur avait annonc\u00e9 un premier vol en septembre\u00a0: il a bien eu lieu le 3 septembre 2026, \u00e0 14 h 25, au d\u00e9part de Bembridge, sur l\u2019\u00eele de Wight. Il deviendra alors le 1.254e Islander livr\u00e9. Le BN2B-26 est motoris\u00e9 par deux Lycoming de 260 ch et affiche 142 kt en croisi\u00e8re maximale, avec 189 m de course au d\u00e9collage.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Britten-Norman, ce vol inaugure aussi la mont\u00e9e en cadence de Bembridge : un deuxi\u00e8me appareil est d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur la cha\u00eene et les composants du suivant sont command\u00e9s.
