Le d\u00e9c\u00e8s, confirm\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant caus\u00e9 par l\u2019explosion de l\u2019airbag d\u00e9fectueux, marque un tournant brutal dans la gestion du scandale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019explosion de l\u2019airbag a provoqu\u00e9 de tr\u00e8s graves blessures ayant entra\u00een\u00e9 la mort\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ois Schneider, procureur de Reims. La victime conduisait une Citro\u00ebn C3 de\u00a02014. Ce drame porte \u00e0 deux le nombre de morts recens\u00e9s en France m\u00e9tropolitaine \u00e0 cause de ces \u00e9quipements mortels d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l\u2019origine de dizaines de d\u00e9c\u00e8s dans le monde.<\/p>\n<p>Tabarot exige l\u2019arr\u00eat total des mod\u00e8les \u00e0 risque<\/p>\n<p>Plus t\u00f4t dans la journ\u00e9e, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.20minutes.fr\/societe\/4158968-20250617-airbags-ministere-demande-immobilisation-citroen-c3-faisant-objet-rappel-apres-nouveau-deces\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"color-ultramarine c-link\" rel=\"noopener\">le ministre des Transports Philippe Tabarot<\/a> a exig\u00e9 l\u2019arr\u00eat total des mod\u00e8les \u00e0 risque. En r\u00e9ponse, Citro\u00ebn a donc d\u00e9clench\u00e9 un rappel massif qualifi\u00e9 de \u00ab\u00a0stop drive\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0Nous demandons l\u2019immobilisation imm\u00e9diate de toutes les C3 et DS3, quelle que soit leur ann\u00e9e de production\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Xavier Chardon, directeur de la marque. Ce rappel concerne 441.000 v\u00e9hicules en Europe, dont 82.000 en France, en plus de ceux d\u00e9j\u00e0 trait\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement aux pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes campagnes de rappel limit\u00e9es ou progressives, la mesure s\u2019applique d\u00e9sormais sans distinction \u00e0 tous les v\u00e9hicules susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9s des airbags Takata, m\u00eame ceux fabriqu\u00e9s apr\u00e8s 2013. \u00ab\u00a0On ne fuit pas nos responsabilit\u00e9s. Les v\u00e9hicules ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rappel\u00e9s, on va un cran plus loin avec un stop drive\u00a0\u00bb, affirme Xavier Chardon. Il promet que \u00ab\u00a0plus un seul airbag Takata\u00a0\u00bb ne restera en circulation sur les Citro\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e8s de 500.000 C3 et DS3 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9es<\/p>\n<p>Citro\u00ebn avait envoy\u00e9 une lettre recommand\u00e9e \u00e0 la conductrice d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e d\u00e8s le 20\u00a0mai. Mais le courrier, bas\u00e9 sur une adresse issue du fichier des cartes grises, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 retourn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019exp\u00e9diteur. Ce rat\u00e9 tragique souligne les limites des rappels classiques face \u00e0 un risque potentiellement mortel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.20minutes.fr\/auto\/airbags-takata\/\" class=\"c-link c-btn c-btn--primary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Notre dossier sur les airbags Takata<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Le groupe Stellantis pr\u00e9cise que pr\u00e8s d\u2019un tiers des v\u00e9hicules concern\u00e9s n\u2019ont toujours pas \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9s. Sur environ 690.000 C3 et DS3 dot\u00e9es d\u2019airbags Takata en France, 481.000 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9es, soit 69,7\u00a0%.
