Dans une \u00e9tude parue dans Nature, une \u00e9quipe internationale emmen\u00e9e par des chercheurs fran\u00e7ais r\u00e9v\u00e8le en effet avoir trouv\u00e9 une \u00ab\u00a0petite g\u00e9ante\u00a0\u00bb, un peu moins d\u2019un tiers de la masse de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lefigaro.fr\/sciences\/nasa-quel-est-l-objectif-d-europa-clipper-20241014\" target=\"_blank\" data-fig-type=\"Article\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-gtm-custom-categorie=\"navigation\" data-gtm-custom-action=\"crossclick\" data-gtm-custom-label=\"Contextuel\" data-gtm-event=\"customEventSPE\" data-fig-domain=\"LEFIGARO\">Jupiter<\/a>, \u00e0 un peu plus de 110 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de nous. C\u2019est une toute jeune exoplan\u00e8te, qui n\u2019aurait pas plus de quelques millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es d\u2019existence, soit mille fois plus jeune que les corps de notre Syst\u00e8me solaire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fig-paragraph\">La \u00ab\u00a0maman\u00a0\u00bb est une jeune \u00e9toile de faible masse \u00e2g\u00e9e de 6\u00a0millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es, \u00ab\u00a0TWA\u00a07\u00a0\u00bb de son petit nom. Elle est si jeune qu\u2019elle est encore nimb\u00e9e de plusieurs aur\u00e9oles de gaz et de poussi\u00e8res, ce que les astronomes appellent plus prosa\u00efquement \u00ab\u00a0disque de transition\u00a0\u00bb (\u00e9tape entre le disque protoplan\u00e9taire et le disque de d\u00e9bris).
