Au programme : confusion g\u00e9ographique, clich\u00e9s invers\u00e9s, et rencontres film\u00e9es au c\u0153ur d\u2019un Texas qui ne s\u2019attendait pas \u00e0 faire office de capitale romantique.<\/p>\n<p>Une erreur de casting\u2026 g\u00e9ographique<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"1285\">Pr\u00e9vue pour <strong data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"725\">le 12 septembre<\/strong>, The Wrong Paris met en sc\u00e8ne <strong data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"778\">Miranda Cosgrove<\/strong> dans le r\u00f4le d\u2019une jeune Am\u00e9ricaine persuad\u00e9e d\u2019avoir d\u00e9croch\u00e9 une place dans une \u00e9mission de t\u00e9l\u00e9-r\u00e9alit\u00e9 tourn\u00e9e \u00e0 <strong data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"913\">Paris\u2026 France<\/strong>. Petit d\u00e9tail : le programme est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 produit \u00e0 <strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"984\">Paris, Texas<\/strong>, et la production ne semble pas d\u00e9cid\u00e9e \u00e0 lui accorder un billet retour. R\u00e9sign\u00e9e, elle tente de se faire \u00e9liminer au plus vite, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que son plan soit mis en \u00e9chec par des sentiments bien r\u00e9els pour <strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1214\">le bachelor du show<\/strong>, incarn\u00e9 par <strong data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1244\">Pierson Fod\u00e9<\/strong> (The Bold and the Beautiful, Naomi).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1687\">Le pitch \u00e9voque une satire douce du genre t\u00e9l\u00e9-r\u00e9alit\u00e9, doubl\u00e9e d\u2019une variation sur le th\u00e8me du <strong data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1413\">lieu fantasm\u00e9 vs lieu r\u00e9el<\/strong>, o\u00f9 l\u2019amour s\u2019impose l\u00e0 o\u00f9 on ne l\u2019attend pas. Le premier visuel d\u00e9voil\u00e9 par Netflix joue d\u2019ailleurs sur cette ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 : Cosgrove, face \u00e0 une silhouette masculine flout\u00e9e, dans un d\u00e9cor aux allures de ville miniature, entre fer forg\u00e9 fa\u00e7on Tour Eiffel et ciel texan lav\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Une production rod\u00e9e aux codes du genre<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1734\" data-end=\"2069\">Derri\u00e8re la cam\u00e9ra, <strong data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1771\">Janeen Damian<\/strong> (Falling for Christmas) signe la r\u00e9alisation, sur un sc\u00e9nario de <strong data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"1857\">Nicole Henrich<\/strong>, pour un casting secondaire compos\u00e9 notamment de <strong data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"1925\">Madison Pettis<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1927\" data-end=\"1947\">Madeleine Arthur<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1949\" data-end=\"1967\">Frances Fisher<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"1984\">Yvonne Orji<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2005\">Torrance Coombs<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2007\" data-end=\"2026\">Emilija Baranac<\/strong> (Fakes), ou encore <strong data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2067\">Hannah Stocking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2071\" data-end=\"2319\">Produit par <strong data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2098\">Brad Krevoy<\/strong> et <strong data-start=\"2102\" data-end=\"2120\">Michael Damian<\/strong>, le film s\u2019inscrit dans une longue s\u00e9rie de com\u00e9dies romantiques Netflix calibr\u00e9es pour l\u2019algorithme : casting jeune et vari\u00e9, d\u00e9cor d\u00e9paysant, mais twist narratif assez original pour sortir du lot.<\/p>\n<p>Un humour de situation en terrain glissant<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2369\" data-end=\"2704\">The Wrong Paris joue \u00e0 fond la carte de l\u2019<strong data-start=\"2413\" data-end=\"2438\">erreur de perspective<\/strong>, en confrontant le fantasme romantique d\u2019une ville-lumi\u00e8re id\u00e9alis\u00e9e au r\u00e9el d\u2019un Midwest am\u00e9ricain plus rugueux. Ce n\u2019est ni une moquerie des petites villes, ni un hommage aux clich\u00e9s parisiens \u2014 plut\u00f4t un terrain de jeu o\u00f9 le malentendu devient moteur de fiction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2706\" data-end=\"2977\">La bande-annonce, encore attendue, devrait fixer le ton : pastiche, sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9 ou satire douce ?
