Voil\u00e0 en effet cinq ans que sa nou\u00advelle source de rayon\u00adne\u00adment EBS (Extremely Brilliant Source, ou source extr\u00ea\u00adme\u00adment brillante) a \u00e9t\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.placegrenet.fr\/2020\/07\/10\/le-synchrotron-de-grenoble-devient-le-plus-puissant-du-monde-avec-sa-source-de-lumiere-ultra-brillante\/532850\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">mise en ser\u00advice<\/a>. Ce qui a fait de l\u2019\u00e9\u00adqui\u00adpe\u00adment scien\u00adti\u00adfique le plus brillant du monde et ouvert la voie \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0un v\u00e9ri\u00adtable chan\u00adge\u00adment de para\u00addigme dans la science des rayons X\u00a0\u00bb, explique son \u00e9quipe.<\/p>\n<p>Le Synchrotron revient sur l\u2019a\u00adven\u00adture de cette \u201cmise \u00e0 jour\u201d. C\u2019est en d\u00e9cembre 2018 que la mue a d\u00e9but\u00e9, n\u00e9ces\u00adsi\u00adtant trois mois de d\u00e9mon\u00adtage (avec la d\u00e9con\u00adnexion de 200\u00a0km de c\u00e2bles et le retrait de 1 720 tonnes d\u2019\u00e9\u00adqui\u00adpe\u00adment), puis neuf mois pour ins\u00adtal\u00adler la nou\u00advelle machine, dans un tun\u00adnel de 844\u00a0m de cir\u00adcon\u00adf\u00e9\u00adrence. \u00ab\u00a0Le pre\u00admier fais\u00adceau de rayons X a \u00e9t\u00e9 pro\u00adduit en jan\u00advier 2020, et l\u2019ESRF-EBS a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en ser\u00advice le 25 ao\u00fbt 2020, dans les d\u00e9lais pr\u00e9\u00advus\u00a0\u00bb, se f\u00e9li\u00adcite encore le\u00a0Synchrotron.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/VIOLON-PAGANINI-ESRF-25-scaled.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-625440\" class=\"wp-image-625440 size-full\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"Parmi ses r\u00e9alisations depuis cinq ans, l'ESRF-EBS a permis une analyse en profondeur de la structure du violon de Niccol\u00f2 Paganini, le fameux Il Cannone. \u00a9 ESRF\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/VIOLON-PAGANINI-ESRF-25-scaled.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-625440\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Parmi ses r\u00e9a\u00adli\u00adsa\u00adtions depuis cinq ans, l\u2019ESRF-EBS a per\u00admis une ana\u00adlyse en pro\u00adfon\u00addeur de la struc\u00adture du vio\u00adlon de Niccol\u00f2 Paganini, le fameux Il Cannone. \u00a9\u00a0ESRF<\/p>\n<p>Et depuis\u00a0? L\u2019EBS a \u00e9t\u00e9 sol\u00adli\u00adcit\u00e9 pour de nom\u00adbreux usages. Dans le domaine m\u00e9di\u00adcal, sa tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgie capable de scan\u00adner des organes humains entiers en 3D a\u00a0per\u00admis de mieux com\u00adprendre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.placegrenet.fr\/2021\/11\/07\/lalteration-des-poumons-par-le-sars-cov2-finement-visualisee-grace-a-la-nouvelle-source-de-rayons-x-de-lesrf\/550439\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">l\u2019al\u00adt\u00e9\u00adra\u00adtion des pou\u00admons<\/a> cau\u00ads\u00e9e par la Covid-19. Elle \u00ab\u00a0ouvre des pers\u00adpec\u00adtives pro\u00admet\u00adteuses dans le diag\u00adnos\u00adtic des can\u00adcers et l\u2019\u00e9tude des mala\u00addies infec\u00adtieuses\u00a0\u00bb, sou\u00adligne le Synchrotron. Une future ligne de nano-ima\u00adge\u00adrie pour\u00adrait par ailleurs jouer un r\u00f4le impor\u00adtant dans la recherche sur les mala\u00addies neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ESRF met en outre l\u2019ac\u00adcent sur son r\u00f4le dans les g\u00e9os\u00adciences, aupr\u00e8s des acteurs indus\u00adtriels (\u00ab\u00a0pour d\u00e9ve\u00adlop\u00adper des bat\u00adte\u00adries plus s\u00fbres, durables et per\u00adfor\u00admantes\u00a0\u00bb) en sciences envi\u00adron\u00adne\u00admen\u00adtales, ou encore en pal\u00e9on\u00adto\u00adlo\u00adgie. Sans oublier la culture, avec une ana\u00adlyse de l\u2019\u00e9tat struc\u00adtu\u00adrel du bois et des pi\u00e8ces de col\u00adlage du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.placegrenet.fr\/2024\/03\/11\/le-synchrotron-de-grenoble-passe-au-crible-il-cannone-le-celebre-violon-de-paganini\/625428\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">vio\u00adlon de l\u2019illustre Niccol\u00f2 Paganini<\/a>, le fameux Il Cannone (1743), per\u00admet\u00adtant de contri\u00adbuer \u00e0 la pr\u00e9\u00adser\u00adva\u00adtion de l\u2019instrument.<\/p>\n<p>Conclusion\u00a0? \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019ESRF-EBS a per\u00admis de repous\u00adser les fron\u00adti\u00e8res de la science [\u2026], ren\u00adfor\u00ad\u00e7ant ainsi le r\u00f4le de l\u2019Europe dans des sec\u00adteurs stra\u00adt\u00e9\u00adgiques tels que la sant\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9nergie, l\u2019environnement et le cli\u00admat\u00a0\u00bb, vante le Synchrotron. Qui note la forte demande de la com\u00admu\u00adnaut\u00e9 scien\u00adti\u00adfique\u00a0: 10 000 cher\u00adcheurs m\u00e8nent des exp\u00e9\u00adriences \u00e0 l\u2019ESRF chaque ann\u00e9e et celui-ci a contri\u00adbu\u00e9 \u00e0 1\u00a0407 publi\u00adca\u00adtions scien\u00adti\u00adfiques en 2024, soit 400 de plus que les ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Le Synchrotron de Grenoble s\u2019ap\u00adpr\u00eate \u00e0 souf\u00adfler cinq bou\u00adgies.
