Pour les 150 ans de Maurice Ravel (n\u00e9 le 7 mars 1875),<strong> l\u2019Orchestre National de Lille<\/strong> accueille un interpr\u00e8te majeur de sa musique [on l\u2019a \u00e9coute encore cet \u00e9t\u00e9 seul, remarquablement inspir\u00e9 par l\u2019auteur du Bol\u00e9ro [dernier festival de MENTON]: le pianiste toulousain <strong>Bertrand Chamayou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>______________________________________<br \/>\nPhoto grand format ci dessus : Bertrand Chamayou \u00a9 Marco Borggreve<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>Au programme, <strong>le Concerto pour la main gauche<\/strong>, \u00e9crit en 1931 \u00e0 la demande de Paul Wittgenstein, un virtuose ayant perdu son bras droit lors de la Premi\u00e8re Guerre Mondiale.\n<\/p>\n<p>En \u00e9cho aux accents jazzy du concerto de Ravel, les instrumentistes lillois jouent Harlem (1950), une pi\u00e8ce de big band \u00e9voquant le quartier natal de <strong>Duke Ellington<\/strong>, mais aussi Three Dances Episode pour orchestre, extrait de la com\u00e9die musicale On the Town (1944) de <strong>Leonard Bernstein<\/strong>. Le compositeur am\u00e9ricain aimait \u00e9difier lui aussi des ponts entre le classique et le jazz. Le concert s\u2019ach\u00e8ve avec l\u2019Oiseau de feu (1909), le plus f\u00e9\u00e9rique des ballets d\u2019<strong>Igor Stravinsky<\/strong>. Un enchantement qui comme dans le Concerto de Ravel, captive par le raffinement de l\u2019orchestration, le g\u00e9nie des couleurs, les parfums d\u2019une po\u00e9sie enchanteresse.
