Le groupe de construction navale a annonc\u00e9 hier la signature d&rsquo;un accord avec Viking Line. La compagnie finlandaise souhaite aligner en 2013 un grand ferry de croisi\u00e8re de 57.000 tonneaux. Long de 210 m\u00e8tres, le navire disposera de 870 cabines et pourra transporter 2800 passagers. Arm\u00e9 par 200 membres d&rsquo;\u00e9quipage, il comptera 1300 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de garage pour les camions et 500 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires pour les voitures. Le navire, qui pourrait disposer d&rsquo;une propulsion au fuel et au gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9, doit pouvoir atteindre la vitesse de 23 noeuds. D&rsquo;un co\u00fbt de 240 millions d&rsquo;euros, le cruise ferry pourrait \u00eatre suivi par un sistership.   <\/p>\n<p>Vue du futur cruise ferry de Viking Line (\u00a9 : STX EUROPE)    <\/p>\n<p>En attendant la signature effective de la commande, les \u00e9tudes d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur le design du navire ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 \u00e0 Turku. Cette construction va permettre de sauver le plus grand chantier finlandais, actuellement en grande difficult\u00e9. La derni\u00e8re unit\u00e9 du carnet de commandes, le paquebot g\u00e9ant Allure of the Seas (225.000 tonneaux, 2700 cabines), est en effet en cours de finition et aucun autre bateau ne suit. L&rsquo;accord sign\u00e9 avec Viking Line va permettre de relancer la production en 2011. La compagnie a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 cliente de STX (ex-Aker yards) par le pass\u00e9. En 2008, les chantiers finlandais avaient livr\u00e9 le Viking XPRS, un ferry de 185 m\u00e8tres capable de transporter 2500 passagers.
