La base navale fran\u00e7aise a, en effet, \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie par l&rsquo;OTAN comme lieu de rassemblement du groupe de guerre des mines de l&rsquo;Alliance, qui participe cette semaine \u00e0 un exercice en Italie. Le SNMCMG2 est actuellement compos\u00e9 de la fr\u00e9gate italienne Granatiere et des chasseurs de mines Termoli (Italie), Turia (Espagne) Gr\u00f6mitz (Allemagne) et Edremit (Turc).       <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;Edremit, ex-Circ\u00e9 de la Marine nationale (\u00a9 : JEAN-LOUIS VENNE)    <\/p>\n<p>Ce dernier n&rsquo;est autre que l&rsquo;ex-Circ\u00e9 de la Marine nationale. Mis en service en 1972, ce chasseur de mines a \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu \u00e0 la Turquie en 1997 et transf\u00e9r\u00e9, avec ses quatre sisterships (Calliope, C\u00e9r\u00e8s, Cyb\u00e8le et Clio) entre 1998 et 1999. Longs de 50.9 m\u00e8tres, ces b\u00e2timents affichent un d\u00e9placement de 508 tonnes en charge.       <\/p>\n<p>Le Granatiere (\u00a9 : JEAN-LOUIS VENNE)      <\/p>\n<p>Le Granatiere (\u00a9 : JEAN-LOUIS VENNE)  <\/p>\n<p>Le Granatiere (\u00a9 : JEAN-LOUIS VENNE)      <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;autre navire du SNMCMG2 a avoir une petite histoire est le Granatiere (ex-Al Qadisiya), command\u00e9 par le r\u00e9gime de Saddam Hussein au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 80. Comme ses trois sisterships, ce navire n&rsquo;a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 livr\u00e9 en raison de embargo d\u00e9cr\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque \u00e0 l&rsquo;encontre de l&rsquo;Irak. Lanc\u00e9es entre 1983 et 1985, ces unit\u00e9s d\u00e9riv\u00e9es des Lupo ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9es entre 1994 et 1996 dans la marine italienne. Longues de 113.2 m\u00e8tres, ces fr\u00e9gates ont un d\u00e9placement de 2525 tonnes en charge.       <\/p>\n<p>Le SNMCMG2 (\u00a9 : JEAN-LOUIS VENNE)        <\/p>\n<p>Concernant les autres b\u00e2timents de la force de guerre des mines de l&rsquo;OTAN, le Termoli (1992) est l&rsquo;un des 8 chasseurs italiens du type Gaeta (52.45 m\u00e8tres, 696 tpc). Le Turia (2000) est, quant \u00e0 lui, l&rsquo;un des 6 chasseurs espagnols du type Segura, une version agrandie des Sandown britanniques (54 m\u00e8tres, 550 tpc).
