Le b\u00e2timent est venu r\u00e9aliser des exercices avec le Forbin, qui sera prochainement admis au service actif. Construit par les chantiers Fincantieri de Riva Trigoso, l&rsquo;Andrea Doria mesure 152.9 m\u00e8tres de long pour un d\u00e9placement de 7000 tonnes en charge. Comme ses homologues fran\u00e7aises et les destroyers T45 britanniques, son syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;armes principal est le PAAMS (Principal Anti Air Missile System), articul\u00e9 autour de 32 missiles Aster 30 et 16 missiles Aster 15. Comme les Horizon fran\u00e7aises, elle dispose en outre de deux tubes lance-torpilles (MU90), ainsi que de senseurs (radars S 1850 M et EMPAR, brouilleurs, sonar 4110 CL, syst\u00e8me de lutte anti-torpille&#8230;) et d&rsquo;une propulsion (2 turbines \u00e0 gaz LM2500, deux moteurs diesels MAN-Pielstick) identiques.     <\/p>\n<p>Le Tonnerre et l&rsquo;Andrea Doria (\u00a9 : JEAN-LOUIS VENNE)    <\/p>\n<p>En dehors de quelques d\u00e9tails architecturaux, la principale diff\u00e9rence entre les fr\u00e9gates fran\u00e7aises et italiennes est la pr\u00e9sence, sur ces derni\u00e8res, d&rsquo;une troisi\u00e8me tourelle de 76mm sur le toit du hangar h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re. Initialement, les navires de la Marine nationale devaient, \u00e0 ce niveau, disposer de deux syst\u00e8mes surface-air Sadral (missiles Mistral).
