L\u2019\u0153il s\u2019abandonne au <strong>geste lent et concentr\u00e9<\/strong> de l\u2019artiste, et \u00e0 cette mati\u00e8re fluide et color\u00e9e qui semble s\u2019\u00e9tirer \u00e0 l\u2019infini.<\/p>\n<p class=\"editor-content__paragraph\">Cette courte vid\u00e9o est en fait <strong>extraite du documentaire Gerhard Richter Painting <\/strong>(2011) de Corinna Belz, pour lequel la r\u00e9alisatrice a pass\u00e9 plusieurs mois dans l\u2019atelier de cette figure tut\u00e9laire de l\u2019art contemporain en Allemagne, \u00e0 Cologne, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant les<strong> secrets de son processus cr\u00e9atif<\/strong>. Le film \u2013 qui faisait \u00e9cho au 80e anniversaire du peintre \u2013 a aujourd\u2019hui une saveur particuli\u00e8re, \u00e0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 Richter est <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beauxarts.com\/expos\/a-la-fondation-vuitton-la-vaste-retrospective-du-peintre-existentiel-gerhard-richter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 \u00e0 la fondation Louis Vuitton<\/a><\/strong>, qui lui consacre une r\u00e9trospective \u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n<p>Un fameux flou<\/p>\n<p class=\"editor-content__paragraph\">Artiste total, Gerhard Richter est l\u2019<strong>auteur d\u2019une \u0153uvre foisonnante<\/strong>, autant abstraite que figurative. N\u00e9 en 1932\u00a0en Allemagne, il n\u2019a pas cess\u00e9, depuis le d\u00e9but de sa carri\u00e8re de peintre dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, d\u2019<strong>exp\u00e9rimenter<\/strong>. Depuis lors, il questionne inlassablement le statut des images en recourant notamment \u00e0 un <strong>effet de flou<\/strong> devenu, en quelque sorte, sa \u00ab\u00a0signature\u00a0\u00bb visuelle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"editor-content__paragraph\">Cohabitent ainsi dans son corpus <strong>des \u0153uvres au r\u00e9alisme nimb\u00e9 de myst\u00e8re<\/strong>, r\u00e9alis\u00e9es \u00e0 partir de photographies, mais aussi des compositions assimilables tour \u00e0 tour \u00e0<strong> l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.beauxarts.com\/grand-format\/labstraction-en-2-minutes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abstraction g\u00e9om\u00e9trique<\/a> ou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beauxarts.com\/grand-format\/labstraction-lyrique-en-2-minutes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lyrique<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Le racloir, outil essentiel de Richter<\/p>\n<p class=\"editor-content__paragraph\">C\u2019est dans les ann\u00e9es 1980\u00a0que Richter inclut dans son attirail de peintre le racloir.
